Making Funerals Fair....
With a unique view of a very traditional business, our combined experience of over 30 years is guaranteed to bring you a level of service which will exceed your expectations.
*PLEASE NOTE* From the 1st March 2026, we no longer have set 'prices' for our services, to reflect that we are a charitable company as opposed to a fixed cost funeral directors. Values on the 'Our Services' page now show suggested donations for the chosen service - by making the stated donation you ensure that we are able to provide the required product/service. Any additional sum you wish to pay on top of this amount will go towards achieving our longer term goals.
What We Do
Whether you require a funeral service, floral arrangement, Orders of Service, a celebrant to take a service, Will Writing or grief and bereavement counselling services or perhaps the provision of a memorial tree at our existing site to commemorate a loved one, then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Direct
Cremations
With a direct cremation, we arrange to collect the person who has died, take them into our care, complete all necessary paperwork and convey them in one of our bespoke vehicles on the day of the cremation to the crematorium. You will be advised of this date as soon as we have it (and not less that 7 days before it takes place). We will also arrange to return the ashes to you within 14 days after the date of the cremation.
Direct+
Cremation
We are proud to introduce our completely unique direct cremation service, where we provide two mourners with the opportunity to accompany the coffin to the crematorium.
Whilst there isn't the option to include a funeral service with this package, on arrival you will be able to say your last goodbyes as the coffin is transferred into the crematorium.
Direct Burials
With a direct burial, we arrange to collect the person who has died, take them into our care, complete all necessary paperwork and convey them in one of our bespoke vehicles on the day of the burial to the cemetery. We will provide you with the grave/plot number and, if you would like, a wooden grave marker and memorial sapling to identify the grave.
Payment in
Advance
We have all heard of 'Funeral Plans', whereby you pay for the package - often by means of instalments - that you require for use at a later date.
Uniquely, we accept payment in advance either in full or by agreed instalments, BUT in the event of you wishing to cancel at a later date then we will provide you with a full refund.
Will Writing Service
Did you know that between 50%-60% of UK adults
don't have a Will?
The most common reason given for not writing a Will is 'I haven't got round to it' or 'I'm too young'.
In reality, anyone over the age of 18 (or 16 if you're in the armed forces) can make a Will and it's never too early to put your wishes into writing - this becomes even more important once you have children, a partner and significant assets (such a house or business). It's wrong to assume that your possessions automatically pass to those closest to you on your death. You might also want to take the opportunity to leave gifts - such as money or practical items - to a cause you believe in.
New From June 2026
As a new service to families and funeral directors alike, I can now offer a black MPV (people carrier) as an alternative to a limousine, perhaps for families who are trying to keep within a budget or maybe have a family member who finds it difficult to get in/out of an ordinary height car, for example. Whilst predominantly working with funeral directors I can also take bookings direct from families. Every MPV reservation provides the driver who will remain available until the booking is complete (and the family have been taken to their chosen return address, if required).
This service is provided at the suggested donation of £150 and includes three hours of usage time (to commence when the vehicle leaves South West London (SW11) until the booking is completed), a DBS checked driver who will assist with passengers where required as well as the provision of up to two child booster seats (to cater for children aged approximately 6-12 years) if needed.
In keeping with my not-for-profit ethos, all payments relating to the use of this service are collated monthly and shared amongst a range of non-profit organisations and charities. However, if you would like a payment from your booking to be made to a specific charity or go towards a particular type of beneficiary (for example, a hospital charity), then that donation can be made on your behalf.
Why Are We Called
'The Never Forgotten'?
The name - 'The Never Forgotten' - reflects a long term goal to provide a lasting memorial to people after they have died, in the form of a cemetery/natural burial ground and, initially, a memorial woodland.
As a non-profit company, costs are kept to a minimum and it is the intention of ultimately being able to offer fully subsidised funerals, to the point of them being free of charge.
Whilst our day-to-day goal is to provide the funeral you require - whether simple, direct, bespoke or something more traditional, cost effectively and to the highest standard - our long term goal, whilst being very ambitious, is a goal of personal importance.
Our available burial plots will be of sufficient size to accommodate up to four people, to a single depth. Each individual grave will be identifiable by means of a plaque and the planting of a sapling. In time, it will be possible to visit the woodland and, as the trees grow, it will remain a living memorial. Unlike many cemeteries, there will be no concerns regarding plot leases expiring and the possibility of graves being moved - every grave purchase (or allocation, once we are able to provide them free of charge) will be the property of the registrant. For those preferring cremation, individual and family plots are available in which to bury ashes. Again, markers and memorial saplings will be available.
As a charitable incorporated organisation, the company is allowed to fundraise and has every intention of doing so, with the end goal of developing this permanent natural space.
The death of a loved one is heartbreaking, but with the creation of our memorial ground you can ensure that they will never be forgotten.
For reference, our day to day company name is 'In Memoriam', to reflect that everything we do is in memory of an individual.
